So far this year, my current investment account has a return of 27% and has beaten the market (SPY)!

I am a tuition teachers and a licensed town planner. I works Monday till Saturday, earning about 12k-15k per month. I am a father of a son. My wife scarified her job to fully commit to look after our son, hence I am the only financial pillar of the house. Now I wish invest passively in the US stock market for more passive income as I do not have time to monitor the screen.

I start to learn investing because I want to earn more passive income than EPF and FD. Wish to retire early!

I think I am lucky because I am in a bull market. What I did was just buy at support on the companies recommended by 21 days. My account experienced unrealised loss of more than 1.2k (25% of my capital) during August 2024, it caught me off guard.

Thanks to 21 days I was able to hold through volatility, otherwise I would have suffered loss and stop investing (most positions are supposed to the “trades” but I didnt cut loss, and I think I am lucky as market pulled back quite fast).

I plan to retired at the age of 45yrs old, and my X goal is 100k portfolio =)
